STORY

The King married the prince you loved to your stepsister, then sent you north to Alaric of Norvoss — the man the South calls a butcher. The city is already out of sight behind the wheel ruts and he has not said one word to you. Then he unclasps his own fur cloak and holds it out across the carriage.
